We at Manna-talo work to reduce inequality and to increase the sustainable use of natural resources.
We distribute usable groceries donated by stores and food wholesalers, whose use-by date is approaching or whose best-before date may have already passed. Often, waste meals from school cafeterias are also included in the distribution.
Food-aid
If you need food aid, please call on weekdays (excluding Thursdays) between 9:00 and 10:30 AM at the number 0400-401114 to book a time slot for yourself.
We distribute groceries starting at 12:00 PM (noon).
You will receive the food aid as a pre-packed basket, from which you can pack the groceries into your own bag. So, bring your own bag!
You can pick up food aid from Manna-talo once per week per household.
Mannapuoti
Mannapuoti is intended for customers who have been granted a "Puotikortti" due to a justified need by Espoo Adult Social Services or Diaconal Work of the Espoo Parishes. The Shop is open by appointment on Thursdays from 12:00 to 13:30. More detailed information on booking an appointment and visiting the shop can be found on the granted Puotikortti.
Mannapuoti and the food distribution that takes place on other days at Manna-talo are alternative ways of receiving food aid.
